You may remember the photo above from our coverage of Monterey Car Week back in August of this year.
Jay Leno stopped by the Koenigsegg stand at an event called The Quail and had a chat with Christian von Koenigsegg. Of course, Jay’s camera crew was with him and the result is a 10-minute interview at the beginning of Jay’s 35-minute feature coverage of The Quail.
The featured vehicle is our final One:1, which made it’s US debut at Monterey and is the only One:1 that will be resident in the United States.
As always, the video is full of great information and explanation. Jay and Christian cover both the One:1 and the fast-approaching Koenigsegg Regera.
It’s a must for all Koenigsegg fans.

I remember when Jay did an episode about the CCXR Trevita a while back, and I really enjoyed that! The car was so beautiful!
A walk around of the One:1 will bring out a lot more, since every little detail of that car has its own unique story to be discussed about. I sure hope Jay will have plenty to talk about! 🙂
By the way, yesterday at school I gave a speech in my Oral Communications class, and the topic I chose was Koenigsegg 🙂 I talked about the CC8S, One:1, and Regera
I would just like to say I think Christian is Brilliant. Every time I hear him speak I am amazed at what his company has invented for his vehicles. I hope someday he decides to built a car for the common man to afford.
It’s nice to see the dream evolution. Thanks for sharing.
It would be nice if Mr. Koenigsegg build some car for poor fool like me. There can some pretty features which in my P 106 missing 🙂
The one:1 is one of my dream cars along with the ford GT. but there’s something….. different about they one:1 i just cant put my finger on it its a good thing but its……. different. Maybe its the precision bodywork intricate uniqueness like a Bugatti but different i just cant put my finger on it Christian von Koenigsegg is a car master
